EVALUATION OF TRAINING

Description

The purpose of evaluating training is to assess the worth of our training investments.

Are the participants happy? Are they learning in a cost effective manner? Are the knowledge and skills transferred to the job? Are the desired results achieved?

There are six reasons why we need to evaluate:

  • How can we improve the programme?
  • How can we ensure regulatory compliance?
  • How can we maximise training effectiveness?
  • How can we align training to strategy?
  • How can we demonstrate the value of training?
