INTRODUCTION

In this turbulent world, when change is taking place at a dazzling pace we need to solve problems and make decisions efficiently and effectively. A programme for Junior level will focus on the tools of problem solving and decision making. Yet to give the organisation a focus and build it into the culture, a similar vocabulary becomes important. As with all training on problem solving and decision making, this starts with concern analysis..

DESIGNED FOR

This programme is designed for any professional who is, or will be, making important business decisions, including: Department managers, directors, supervisors, project teams, team leaders, product managers, executives and senior executives.

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

At the end of the training delegates should be able to:
1. Evaluate, compare and relate information from across the business and
    identify the broader implications of proposed solutions across the
    organisation
2. Identify problems that are inhibiting the achievement of organisational
    objectives
3. Encourage both individuals and teams to solve problems through
    empowerment and effective delegation and review mechanisms
4. Ensure the allocation of resources and invests in people and tools to
    optimize problem solving and decision making efforts
5. Consider the impact of decisions on various stakeholders and takes this
    into account
6. Arrive at sound and timely decisions, based on past experience and an
    understanding of the current business environment and projected
    changes

LEARNING APPROACH

This programme will be conducted in a practical and participative way to achieve the course outcomes. The tools used will reflect the leaner level and make it easy for the delegates to grasp the concepts, learn the tools and apply them back on the job.
